Well sorry for my absence, looks like it has been a while since my last post. 13 unlucky days to be exact, due to a technical reason the blog was removed, deleted or just went missing for a while. So I have decided to start a new blog that still contains all of the content from my old blog.
At times I thought that I would just let the blog go, but then I realized that folks are actually reading the posts. Which makes me wonder about spelling and sentence structure; I was never too good at those sentence diagrams in the 6th grade. So, my disclaimer again; I apologize in advance for any misspellings or errors in their, there, too, tow and to’s….
I did miss updating my posts with thoughts and feelings. So my last post was on the 6th…I discovered that the blog went missing on Thursday the 8th. I had decided that I would do an update after meeting with my Thursday Guys. Our Thursday guy group went a little long and when we finally decided to hit the road we ran into a few folks at the Church office. The church that my wife and I attend shares space with a Christian school in the 83642. In the Church office where two members of our church, one gal had been reading my blog and was wondering who my Thursday guys where. It is kinda funny; I have made a conscious decision to not name names in my blog. I think it is like the TV show COPS. Everyone has a certain amount of anonymity in this blog and I plan on not naming names to protect the innocent. So, it was kinda fun to see the excitement that this church gal had over discovering the guys in my Thursday guys group. So, now I guess I am struggling on how to describe this individual who is now a character in my blog. When I think about it she reminds me of my Grandma Hazel. My Grandma Hazel is a lot like my wife…she was a very small woman, not over five feet tall and like all small women she carried a very large stick. So, one needs to watch how they act around these little women because they may be totally sugar sweet but they can also be a bit sour as well when needed. It is wise to be friends with all the little women in your life.
McQ, I am so glad you decided to continue your blog. I not only appreciate knowing how Tessa is progressing but how you and the rest of your little family are fairing.
Like I said before, I think God knew who to choose to deal with a special child when he chose you. I don’t know your wife, but God does and she too must be the right person to be given these challanges.
I pray all the best prayers for all of you. Your blog helps me focus my prayers.
Again thank you for including us all in your journey of life with Tessa.
